Clocks is an all-day bar, café and diner located at Melbourne’s iconic Flinders Street train station. The venue was completely refreshed by Studio Nine Architects and Schiavello Construction.

“The timeworn Clocks pokies bar has been transformed to provide a glimpse into the golden age of train travel. The iconic venue has been renewed to includes a bar, café, and diner. The project transports patrons to the romanticism of the 1920s train journeys. While rather unassuming from the outside, on entry patrons are greeted with the elegance of brass and marble finishes and globe lights that curl over dark leather couches. White subway tiles establish the overall design intent while classic train elements command the feel of the fitout. A ‘mind the gap’ warning is written in black and white hexagonal tile across the floor. Booth seating lines the dining area, accented by overhead luggage compartments reminiscent of early train interiors – complete with antique luggage,” says Schiavello Construction
