Mayes Office uses ocean color palette inside Sweetfin Poké bistro in San Diego

Sweetfin, a poké bistro chain, opened one of its latest locations in San Diego. The owners fell in love with poké after visiting the Hawaiian Islands. Being Californians, however, they have updated the Hawaiian traditional bowl with the inventive flavor combinations of California cuisine. The interior was completed by design studio Mayes Office (MO).

“Hospitality design involves collaborating with many people to produce a great product in an efficient way. MO’s design objective is to employ spatial and material intelligence that is synonymous with the brand’s identity and vision. During our design process, we ask the question; “How can design enhance our client’s brand while providing an unique dining experience to each location? Whether it is creating a new brand experience or retaining a brand’s identity, MO’s hospitality design solutions bring long-term value to owners while welcoming guests with exceptional experiences,” explains Mayes Office
