A Look Inside Canova Hall Taproom & Pizzeria in London
Canova Hall has been shaped through old food courts across Europe and South America, hailing back to its origins as a workhouse and canteen for department store workers two centuries ago. The interior was designed by London – based architecture practice Red Deer, that was founded by architects Lionel Real de Azúa, Ciarán O’Brien and Lucas Che Tizard.
“Central to the island bar is the re-purposed antique ice box from Argentina which now holds our craft beers. The tiled front to the bar harks to the functional asethics of working markets. The open kitchen has been designed along the lines of a market stall, raised in height to give maximum visibility into the industrious hub of food,” explained Red Deer
